Loss of scientific equipment during shipboard operations

Neither the Smithsonian Institution nor the R/V Urraca accepts any responsibility for the loss during shipboard operations of any of the scientific party's scientific or personal equipment and belongings. All scientific and personal equipment taken on board the vessel by the scientific party is the direct responsibility of that party.
